Next-generation devices increasingly require high-quality audio streaming without the constraints of traditional Bluetooth pairing. Broadcast audio allows a device to transmit audio streams that multiple receivers can tune into-ideal for AR/VR systems, smart glasses, and public audio sharing. However, the clients face three critical challenges:
No retransmissions
Broadcast audio is extremely sensitive to packet loss because no retransmissions are allowed.
No default antenna sharing
Maintaining stable, glitch-free broadcast audio required precise scheduling, prioritization, and antenna-sharing mechanisms not supported by default.
This made it difficult for the client to deliver a reliable broadcast audio experience in environments with heavy Wi-Fi activity. We implemented a complete Bluetooth Broadcast Audio system optimized to operate seamlessly even when WLAN is active, ensuring stable and high-quality streaming.

Bluetooth–WLAN Coexistence
Designed Advanced Bluetooth–WLAN Coexistence Strategy
- We created a custom antenna-sharing policy that allows Bluetooth Broadcast Audio to coexist with Wi-Fi without interruption.
Audio Traffic
Prioritized Broadcast Audio Traffic in Bluetooth Stack
This made it difficult for the client to deliver a reliable broadcast audio experience in environments with heavy Wi-Fi activity. We implemented a complete Bluetooth Broadcast Audio system optimized to operate seamlessly even when WLAN is active, ensuring stable and high-quality streaming.
Key Benefits to the Client
- Glitch-free, even under heavy Wi-Fi usage
- Optimized for low-latency music and media streaming
- Reliable without retransmissions, thanks to intelligent packet segmentation
- Compatible with next-gen headphones requiring only initial pairing to exchange link keys
